On 15-16 November 2008, the Second International CEO Roundtable of Chinese and Foreign Multinational Corporations was held in Beijing, during which, CPI was awarded “Energy Conservation and Environmentally Friendly Enterprise” by United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and China International Institute of Multinational Corporations. CPI is the only one among the five state-owned Gencos to win the prize.
